Encore at Parkside senior living community in Newark is hosting a Senior Health and Wellness Expo on May 23, 2024 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. On-site will be organizations and professionals providing resources for fitness and wellness, elder law, downsizing and selling your home, veterans’ benefits, pharmacy services, in-home care, and more.
Breakout sessions will allow collaborative discussions and information on medication, veterans’ benefits, and financial planning tips that relate to private pay resources for independent living, assisted living and long-term care.
Vendors’ tables will be set up throughout Millcroft’s newly renovated community, and a model of one of Encore at Parkside’s independent living one-bedroom patio apartments will be open for visitors to see. Resident ambassadors will be on hand to talk with attendees and to answer questions about the community. There will be giveaways, beverages, and healthy snacks.
As a continuing care community, Encore at Parkside makes aging in place simple. “We are excited to welcome people to see our beautiful community while also interacting with professionals in senior living,” said Nicole.
